My neurologist

An excellent doctor and drop dead gorgeous!

She approves of my outings because her motto is "Life is for living." She likes my jokes too.

I have an appointment for a checkup tomorrow.  I get these checkups once every 6 months.

Mrs. AOW doesn't have to go with me.  I can manage on my own.

She likes your jokes?

She likes my jokes. I keep them clean for her.

Yesterday, I took some coins to show her, but she wasn't much interested in those.

I did get a great checkup, so I don't have to go to another appointment for a whole year. This is the first time any doctor has told me that I didn't have to come back in 3-6 months. A good sign!

Glad to hear it, Mr. AOW.

Hope your progress continues.

Today is a big day here! The van is scheduled to arrive this evening. If all is as the dealer in Georgia has told us, I'll hand the man the certified check. I've never written a check this big in my entire life!

Duck,
As I indicated in my comment above comment, Mr. AOW is well enough now to "resume living." We have a few more years left to make some memories.

The plan: Monument Valley, here we come!

Keep lighting those candles for us. We are grateful to you. Mr. AOW and I will never accept your political worldview, but humanity and humanitarianism do matter.

Arizona? I lived there 20 years. Man what a state.
Grand Canyon? The air is a little thin there if that might be a problem but being there vs looking at pictures is so much different, it's practically indescribable. Each moment of scenery there is like a snowflake, unique - never to be repeated again.
- Sedona. You have to go to Sedona and stop at Talaquepaque very near Sedona town central as well as Sedona itself.
Then there is Jerome, an old mining town on top of a little mountain, now populated by 60's art hippy types, and all the scenery around Sedona itself. Fantastic.

Also the only place McDonald's allows non-yellow arches. They're Teal there.

Then from Sedona back up the hill to Flagstaff is Lookout Point where you can buy genuine hand made American Indian jewelery and crafts at great prices.
Lots and lots to do and see. If you want some more ideas, let me know.

Kid,
I'll have Mrs. AOW check out all those places on the web! Thanks!
