Everybody seems glued to their devices.

This can't be healthy behavior! And it sure as hell puts a cramp on having a person-to-person social life!

I get pissed off when I see people who used to be normal and fun to be around so addicted to electronic devices.

Give me the Western channel and reruns from way back when - not the awful stuff kids watch today.

Dumbass Environmentalists

The Reflecting Pool on the National Mall is now a mess after being reconditioned for $34 million.  $34 million shot to hell.

The dumbasses put river water into the Reflecting Pool!  Now the pool is growing a bumper crop of algae:

That area of the Mall stinks to high heaven too.

Getting that dirty river water into that pool was a two-year project!

Anybody with any knowledge of what i's in the water from the Potomac River could have seen this FUBAR coming. Even the fish go belly up in the nasty water of the Potomac.

Of course, nobody on our local news programs will mention the real cause of this SNAFU: the damn greenies.

And this is one nasty campaign season.

I'm so sick of all those political ads on TV. And televisions are everywhere now - even at Burger King!

No wonder my parents used to call the TV set "the one-eyed monster"!

Here at home, I'm going to watch channels without political commercials as much as possible - just to avoid those damn political ads.

The News

I hate watching the news.

I'm not talking about politics.

I'm talking about all the things that the talking heads and news reporters say are good for you and these wonderful things that you should get.

Lots of people try whatever that product is.

Next, out comes the "new information." The product is bad for you and will even kill you!

Or else the product is illegal, which makes even more people want it.

I'm sick of the merry-go-round!

Don't even get me started bitching about the commercials for wonder drugs. They have side effects that would scare the coldest-blood hit man in the Mafia.

I should stick to watching You Tube and reruns of "Two and a Half Man."

Hell, even old reruns of "House" and "Cold Case" are better than the stupid news, which constantly says one thing, then turns around and says the total opposite.

Even "The Three Stooges" has more brain matter than most of these idiots on tv news.
