Great Film! Great Music!

That was a good movie.

I liked the original version much better than the remake -- probably because of Walter Mathau,

The remake was terrible. Of course I've never forgiven Hollywood for trying to remake Breathless .

But that clown Tarantino stole from Pelham so you know it was a pretty good film.

I rented the DVD of the remake and couldn't even get the whole way through.

Rarely do remakes live up to the original. I'm sure there are exceptions, but on only one cup of coffee, I can't think of any.

It's a real short list,AOW and right now I can't come up with much of a list.

3:10 to Yuma

The Fly

can't really think of much else. Of course many should rot for what they did to King Kong. It really didn't need improvement.

Then they try to remake "Seven Samurai" as a western, don't get me going.

I agree the original Pelham was much better, the characters more believable. Robert Shaw was far more sinister as a villain than Vinnie Barbarino, I mean John Revolta.... Travolta. His character was too schizophrenic.
