My Christmas Miracle

It happened around midnight on Christmas Eve in 1993. I'll never forget that moment!

On December 7 that year, I had surgery for an acoustic neuroma. An acoustic neuroma begins growing in the inner ear and, if not found quickly, spreads into the brain stem.

My operation took 10 hours. Very complicated surgery. I was in the hospital for an entire week, then released after I learned to walk again.

A few days after I got home, I developed double vision.

I was scared.

Back to the hospital we went, but we couldn't get an appointment until December 23. So many of the doctors we on Christmas vacation, so we had to wait a long time for that appointment. I wore a patch over one eye all that time.

The doctor said that I had some brain swelling and prescribed steroids.

So, what was the miracle? Around midnight, my double vision went away. A miracle, as far as I'm concerned.

Christmas 1993 is one Christmas that I'll never forget.

Hi.
it's nice to hear this , once a doctor told me after they gave you the last rites your condition improved suddenly , i had given up already 'there's a better specialist than me up there'.Since then i know there's a plan for each one of us , the lord decides what and when..... in my case i had already twice the last rites(once in Africa , once in europe), so i know for sure.
There is a merciful God.

A miracle! You survived, and healed!

I'm glad you recovered and regained normal sight.

I've been told that if you wear glasses that make everything appear upside down, that eventually (after a few days) your brain figures it out and flips the image. I wonder if something similiar happened to re-align them.

If you see things up-side-down,
it means, you are looking at your iPad UP-SIDE-DOWN!
Move to the other side of the table!...
